AMD 329 | Digital Print Making
For my digital print making class, our first project was a repeat print. I wanted to create my print from my plane ticket the first time I went to New York. I created the print on photoshop and then put it into a repeat using Kaledo software. I then placed it onto bull denim fabric using Contrado. I made the ruffles out of organza.

For my midterm project for my draping class, we had to make a garment using some type of style of cowl. my inspiration stemmed from greek goddness, aphrodite. i chose to make a slip dress with a bustier and cowl in the front. below is my progress from sketches, to drape, to sample, and my final product on the right.
vie éternelle
AMD 325 | Draping
for my draping class final, we had to make a couture dress with a corset. i created this ballgown, called vie eternelle; meaning eternal life. my inspiration stems from the nutcracker and the concept dives into dealing with anxiety surrounding the concept of death.
i chose to do cowls and peplums in a messy collage on the ball gown to symbolize anxiety, and the colors and prints symbolize the beauty of feeling things so deeply, that even though anxiety can take over us; its a part of us.
